Active Armour™ is a water conditioner that acts as a “Boundary-Zone Inhibitor” and prevents hardness compounds from sticking to themselves or anything else and forming scale. The advanced proprietary formulation of Active Armour™ allows it to function uniformly from 40F degrees to 140F degrees instead of breaking down like so many other phosphate compounds that stick inside pipes or create masses of accumulated hardness. In addition to effectively controlling scale, the safe chemistry of Active Armour™ bonds to exposed metal components of plumbing, faucets, water heaters, and other appliances, and protects them from corrosion. Active Armour™ is not a water softening technology.
